Sameer: Best dinner out I've had in a long time. Thanks for sharing it with me. Marie: Sigh. I try so hard to conquer the strange social settings. When I think I have it, another event comes along, and I'm proven otherwise. Honey and Shanna: Thank you both. I wasn't sure if I should include that line, but I'm glad I did, now. Being alone is a delicate issue for me. Amber: I'm completely with you! I cherish those moments with a few close friends - it's almost like being alone, together, because it's so natural.

Being alone can be peaceful. I prefer to spend quality time with a few good friends than quantity time with a large group of acquaintances. It feels as though small groups/one on ones are so much more valuable to the parties involved. Your weekend sounded lovely (and the photos are beautiful!) Nice post

We’re very similar.

I can find my voice in a work setting but I shrivel up in a social setting if I’m a “newbie.”
