Eleni said my oatmeal looked like Christmas
… and promptly chased me with her camera.
With goji berries, raw pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, shredded raw coconut and a little bittersweet chocolate. Yum.

Succulents
Anyone who’s spent any length of time with me knows how enamoured I am with succulents. I love them: smooth, bulbous, with their pretty colours and dull finishes. They’re nubby and velveteen and geometric. I can’t get enough.

When I saw Kelly + Chris’ wedding over at Erin Hearts Court today, I was smitten. The entire wedding made me smile, but the succulents playing off of bright yellow flowers made it extra special. (All photos by Erin Hearts Court.)

Birthday flowers
Too lovely not to post. Some spray roses from my birthday, another hand-made card from E, and and old image of some gorgeous cream-colour long-stems from a few months back.

Summer fruit + aloo ghobi

Summer fruit in all her glory: peaches, mango, raspberries, cherries.

And tonight’s dinner: homemade aloo ghobi and naan bread at our ‘kitsch-en’ table (so coined by E and I because of the deliciously ugly “lace” placemats she found the other day …)
